Our Mission Margins X exists to amplify marginalised voices in literature by creating transformative in-person book club experiences that bring readers and underrepresented authors together in London's most unique spaces.

Our Story

Founded in 2025, Margins X was born from a simple observation: the most powerful stories often come from voices pushed to the margins of mainstream publishing. While the industry slowly changes, countless brilliant authors from underrepresented communities struggle to find engaged audiences. Meanwhile, readers hungry for diverse perspectives don't know where to find these transformative books, alone and trapped in the same book ruts.

We created Margins X to solve both problems. By hosting intimate book club events in memorable London venues, we create space for marginalised stories to connect directly with readers who truly care about their stories. Every event centers voices that deserve to be heard, in places that deserve to be discovered, with people who deserve to connect with their like.

What "Margins X" Means

The name reflects our mission:
